Welcome to Rocks East Woodland!

My name is Marylyn Timms and I am co-trustee of this wonderful multi-purpose managed woodland.

Located in South Gloucestershire near Bath and with excellent access from the M4, here is over 100 acres of historic woodlands overlooking St. Catherine's valley in the Cotswold area of outstanding natural beauty.

Consisting of a mixture of broadleaved and coniferous trees managed in sympathy with native wildlife, the woodlands offer a fascinating opportunity for all ages to enjoy nature at first hand.

Please browse these pages to gain an insight of what you can see and do, but the real pleasure will come when you visit us and experience the massive Redwood, the aroma of thousands of different plants, discover the hidden garden, follow the sculpture trail and if you are very quiet, maybe see a deer or badger!
